Her name is Emily. Growing up in Carrollton, Georgia, there were apparently quite a few of those — enough that folks just started calling her Em to keep things straight. It stuck. And eventually it became the name on the door of the business she built stem by stem, in her garage.
After earning her bachelors in public health and master’s in education at Georgia Southern University (Go Eagles!) she planted roots in Statesboro. Emily then spent the next twenty years in the classroom shaping young minds. Bless their hearts. Seriously.
So, she did what any sensible 25 year-old woman with a toddler does: she went to the garage and built a business. She spent the better part of a two decades working both vocations. In 2021, she chose to listen to what she always knew….flowers were her happy and she made the leap to making this already full-time gig, her ONLY gig.
